ACT 5 Raises over $296,000 -
Thank You Riders and Crew!
ACT 5 raised over $296,000 for AIDS
Network. Congratulations to riders, crew and the staff of AIDS Network
for making this such a great experience for all the participants and their
supporters. The clients of AIDS Network greatly appreciate the hard work of so
many people on their behalf. Thank you! Five ACT Rides have raised almost
$1,300,000 to benefit AIDS Network. |

Hello,
Amazing page...I'm paramedic and I working in health area since 20 years or so,
and its not just to help or assist people with AIDS, it really important to
educate about the cause of HIV/AIDS, the consequences and the prevention...

ACT 5 was another memorable AIDS ride to say the
very least. Sadly, due to prior speaking commitments, I was not able to crew
for the ride. It was an incredible honor to be asked to speak for the opening ceremonies.
Hosted by Christine Bellport from NBC 15, it was a truly moving ceremony! The
white doves that were released, were poignant to say the least. Fortunately, we were able
to get out on 2 days to cheer on the riders and crew, as well as to attend the
closing ceremonies at Capital Square in Madison. Our friend Cass gave a moving
and heartfelt talk. I am very grateful to my friends Katy Sai and Jay Olsen from
www.storybridge.tv for giving me the
privilege to be featured in their coverage of the Wisconsin AIDS Ride. You can see the video
below. I look forward to ACT 6 where I will return to crew! |
