I
ABSOLUTELY loved hearing from Bob Bowers.
I was so inspired by his upbeat attitude, and I really wish we could have sat
there for another hour with him. I stayed after class to chat with him a bit. I
just found him so incredibly motivating. It made me think about the little
things that I complain about, and after hearing a man like
Bob, I realized that I really shouldn't have anything to complain about. His
attitude and his intolerance for ignorance is an example for everyone. After 22
years of living with the virus,
Bob had done so much to help the
community and provide outreach to people affected by the virus.
"From
the cowardice that dares not face new truth,
From the laziness that is contented with half truth,
From the arrogance that thinks it knows all truth,
Good Lord, deliver me."
--Kenyan prayer
